Welcome to the Lynchburg Police Department Website!

Mission Statement

To protect and serve the residents of the Village of Lynchburg, Ohio.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Lynchburg Police Department web site I hope you find the information helpful and useful.

I came to work at the Police department in 2012 working part-time then going full time. I was no stranger to the Department as this makes my third time as Chief here, serving in the 1980's and 1990's. I have lived here in Lynchburg for about 25 years. I have been in Law Enforcement for over 30 years working for the Highland County Sheriff's Department, Sabina Police Department, Hillsboro Police Department, Port William Police Department and Leesburg Police Department and before coming here, working for the State of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities as a Police Office. I also volunteered for the Hillsboro Fire Department and Lynchburg Fire Department.

Public service has been a big part of my life and serving the residents of Lynchburg is an honor and privilege.

To contact the Police Department in an emergency please call 911, for non-emergency please call 937-393-1421 which is the Highland County Sheriff's Department, if you would just like to leave a message you can call 937-364-6659 and an officer will return your call as soon as possible. (Remember, we are not a 24 hour 7 day a week department, so it may be a little time before the call is returned) If you need to fax information to the department, you can call 937-364-3122. You may also send an e-mail to info@lynchburgpd.com or each officer has an e-mail.
